Hobbies/interests: 
My interests in psychiatry include autism and developmental disorders, psychotherapy in its many forms, school psychiatry, and collaborating with teams and families for patient wellbeing. Outside of psychiatry, I am an avid reader of Scifi and Fantasy novels; I love the outdoors and am big into hiking, cycling, rock climbing, and camping. When winter months don't allow for outdoor activities, I dive into video games, board games, movies, puzzles, and painting (mostly paint by number). My spouse and I also love to explore local restaurants and travel the world to experience new cultures when we aren't curled up on the couch with our puppy.

Hobbies/interests:
I love experiencing different cultures through food. Though I love food from almost everywhere I'd say spicy food is the key to my heart (Thai, Vietnamese, Sichuan, Indian and Pakistani food in particular). I love the nature that the New England area has to offer (rivers, lakes, beaches, and trails allowing for hikes) but I'm a city person at heart. Living in Hartford and being so close to Boston and New York is awesome. I care about the world we live in so I keep a close eye on world events and to better understand how we got here I enjoy history (whether it be visiting museums, listening to podcasts, or reading a good book). Sports are my escape; I love keeping up with the NBA/NFL and college football/basketball. Lastly, like most psychiatrists I find the human mind immensely intriguing. Thanks to my colleagues, supervisors and mentors at IOL I'm learning more than I ever have in this respect and I know it's making a better psychiatrist and most importantly a better human.
