5-Year Combined Adult & Child/Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program
This five year program offers progressive integration of work with children, adolescents, and their families.
Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program
The Institute of Living’s psychiatric residency program is an independent residency where you will gain knowledge and experience in providing a full spectrum of services to our patients, who represent all ages and backgrounds and who are seeking treatment for a broad array of disorders.
Annie Goodrich Post-Graduate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Fellowship
The purpose of the fellowship is to provide novice advanced-practice graduates with the competence and confidence needed for independent, advanced psychiatric/mental health practice.
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program
Our training program aims to graduate residents who are prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century while maintaining the essence and uniqueness of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (CAP).
Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship

Psychology Department Internship & Residency
The Psychology Department provides training in clinical psychology and neuropsychology. These programs are part of the hospital's long-standing training mission which is administered under the auspices of the Department of Education.
Psychology Mentorship Program
The Psychology Mentorship Program is a formal mentorship program for psychologists and psychology trainees within our system (HHC/IOL/BHN, or CT Children’s)
Rushford Addiction Medicine Fellowship
The Rushford Addiction Medicine Fellowship provides comprehensive clinical training for treating patients with substance use disorders and dual diagnoses’ patients. The wide variety of programs both within Rushford and Hartford Healthcare allow our fellows’ to gain experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds at every different stage of recovery.
