Orientation Period

During the first week of the internship, each trainee meets with each faculty member and various key administrative and clinical personnel in the healthcare system.

Caseloads are kept to a minimum during this initial period so that interns can become familiar with the medical record and specific requirements existing in each unique training site.

The purpose of these meetings is to meet with key personnel and to integrate into the flow of the department and the healthcare system.


Internship stipends are $31,700

Benefits include:

  • Employee-chosen health plan (for weekly premium)
