The Psychology Department offers predoctoral training in adult and child/adolescent clinical psychology. The internship has four tracks to which applicants can apply: (1) Adult track; (2) Child/adolescent track; (3) Adult Cognitive Behavioral Therapy track and (4) Child/adolescent Cognitive Behavioral Therapy track.
The goal of all of these programs is to provide trainees a diverse, well-supervised, and in-depth training experience that prepares them to assume full responsibility for patient care, and to function as independent practitioners of clinical psychology.
In addition, postdoctoral training is offered in General Clinical Psychology within Adult and Child/Adolescent Tracks. Within these primary tracks, opportunities for clinical focus include: anxiety disorders/cognitive behavioral therapy, child/adolescent inpatient clinical psychology, general adult inpatient clinical psychology, serious and persistent mental illness with an emphasis on the treatment of psychosis, LGBTQ+ gender affirmative care, child and adolescent school-based assessment and treatment, health psychology, and clinical neuropsychology.
