The Program number for our 5-year Combined Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Program is 1083400C1. Please visit our 5-year Combined program to learn more about the curriculum and the requirements to apply.
Interview Day
The morning “tour” and question & answer session with a PG III or PG IV resident and “lunch” with residents provide opportunities to ask questions. A video will allow the applicant to virtually “visit” the Institute of Living campus as well our entire medical campus with Hartford Hospital and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center across the street. The interview day includes several opportunities to speak with faculty involved in clinical work and teaching in our program as well as time to speak with current residents.
Zoom social gatherings of our residents and applicants who have already interviewed will be held three times during the recruitment season: November, December, and toward the end of January. These provide interviewed applicants an opportunity to spend time with our residents and get a sense for our resident community in a more relaxed setting. Participation is voluntary and attendance is not taken.
