Anxiety Disorders Center

The Anxiety Disorders Center is dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment for anxiety and related disorders while advancing research on their causes and treatment. The center also serves as a leader in educating mental health professionals in the delivery of evidence-based care. 


Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center

Director: Godfrey Pearlson, M.D.

The Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center is a clinical neuroscience research facility established in 2001. The center’s mission is to conduct neuroscience research of psychiatric illness and rapidly translate that research into new and effective treatments.  


Clinical Trials Unit

Director: Benjamin Anderson, M.D. 

The Clinical Trials Unit conducts clinical research evaluating investigational medications and novel therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric disorders. Faculty are engaged in industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials, advancing innovative treatments for a broad range of behavioral health conditions.


Center for Research on Racial Trauma and Community Healing

Director: Javeed Sukhera, HBSc, MD, PhD, DABPN, FRCPC

The Center for Research on Racial Trauma and Community Healing advances research, education, and community partnerships to better understand the effects of racial trauma and improve mental health care. The center is dedicated to developing evidence-informed approaches that promote healing, expand access to care, and support training for future mental health professionals.
