Deirdre came to the US from Ireland in 2000 after receiving her B.S. in Chemical Sciences from the Dublin Institute of Technology and Dublin City University. She joined the Cognitive Neurophysiology lab at The Nathan Kline Institute, Orangeburg, New York where she spent 2.5 years working as a Research Assistant/EEG Technologist and exploring Manhattan on the weekends. Deirdre moved to Boston in 2003 and for 5 years she held the position of chief technologist and lab manager in the MEG/EEG lab at the Athinoula Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging, Charlestown, MA. Deirdre joined the Olin Center as the Electrophysiology lab manager and Unit Leader in August 2007.
Deirdre lives in Simsbury, CT with her husband and 3 kids. She loves to work out, travel and run around after the kids.
