Nique Pichette, DNP, MSN, RN is a groundbreaking nurse-scientist. She is not just a clinician but an innovator who created and legally trademarked the Cannabis Nurse Navigator role. Furthermore, she is a Principal Investigator conducting significant research on Cannabis Use Disorder at a prestigious neuropsychiatry research center.

Her work bridges the gap between the emerging field of medical cannabis and established, evidence-based psychiatric and nursing practice. She is a leader in developing the clinical infrastructure and scientific understanding necessary to responsibly integrate cannabis into patient care.

Her doctorate focuses on applying research directly to improve patient care and systems, which is exactly what her work with the Navigator role and CUD research exemplifies.

While she holds a doctoral degree, her clinical work and pioneering Navigator role are built upon her expertise as a Registered Nurse (RN) and her DNP, rather than on a nurse practitioner's license. This highlights a unique career path focused on research, program development, and                                                                                           clinical consultation rather than direct diagnosis and prescription.
