Muhammad Asim Mubeen

Title: Research Scientist I
Lab: Olin Neuropsychiatry Research Center

Dr. Mubeen earned his doctorate degree in computational physics from SUNY Albany. His general research interests include medical image processing, signal processing, machine learning, and Bayesian data analysis. Dr. Mubeen is interested in algorithm development for biomedical signals, structural magnetic resonance images (MRI), diffusion weighted MRI and positron emission tomography (PET) images. He is also interested in novel machine learning techniques to predict the onset of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
