Dr. Mubeen earned his doctorate degree in computational physics from University at Albany (SUNY). His research interests include medical image processing, signal processing, machine learning, and Bayesian data analysis. Dr. Mubeen is interested in algorithm development for biomedical signals, structural magnetic resonance images (MRI), diffusion weighted MRI and positron emission tomography (PET) images. He is also interested in novel machine learning techniques to predict the onset of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
