Chris studies the neural correlates of social and emotional cognition in autism spectrum disorder and schizophrenia using structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging (sMRI/fMRI) and analyzes both task-based and resting-state fMRI data. He received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2000. He, his wife Anna and their two Basenjis live in Western Massachusetts.
