Kayvona earned her B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in research, along with minors in Sociology and Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies at the University of Connecticut . She joined the COBBRA Lab in June 2025 and is continuing her research on the Biomarkers/Biotypes, Course of Early Psychosis and Specialty Services" (BICEPS) and Antipsychotic Response to Clozapine in B-SNIP Biotype-1 (CLOZAPINE) project. Kayvona plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a focus on exploring the lifetime biopsychosocial impacts on the onset and treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder in women who have                                                                      experienced sexual assault. In her free time, she enjoys reading, advocating for                                                                      survivors' rights, and traveling to new countries.
