Are you interested in participating in research that uses cutting edge technology to improve treatments for substance use disorders?
The Steele Lab is running multiple studies using non-invasive techniques that image, stimulate, and monitor the brain and its activity. Techniques include functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and/or event-related potentials (ERPs). Studies are designed to test and establish efficacy of novel treatments for substance use disorders. For screening click

Who can participate?
Participants must be:
individuals who use cocaine or opiates (e.g., heroin, pain medications, etc.) OR community members who have not used either substance
between the ages of 18 and 60
right-handed
(Other criteria may apply, depending on the study)
What do I get out of this?
Participants will be compensated $20 per hour and may receive an additional bonus for completing all parts of the study
Your participation contributes to ongoing efforts to improve treatment outcomes for individuals with substance use disorders
