Hermonie is a Research Intern at the Center for Research on Racial Trauma and Community Healing. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Trinity College, Hartford. Hermonie has a strong background in community engagement, having worked with Trinity College’s Diversity and Access Team to support prospective students from diverse backgrounds, and as a Get Out the Vote Intern with Hartford NEXT, where she helped empower residents and support Hartford neighborhoods. She is passionate about health equity, particularly in behavioral health, and is deeply committed to supporting diverse communities and addressing the impacts of racial discrimination on overall well-being. Hermonie is excited to contribute to patient-centered research in Hartford and aims to be a well-rounded asset to the team and its initiatives to heal and strengthen the local community.
