Credit Recovery Program
The Webb Schools’ Credit Recovery program is designed to support students in their efforts to recover credits lost due to non-attendance problems. The program involves consultation with the student’s Local Education Agency (LEA) to provide a credit review and map a course of action. Each student’s plan is individualized to meet their needs.
Students are given the opportunity to earn credits needed to complete the requirements for a high school diploma or to regain lost credits and return to their local high school to complete their education. Staff, families, and students work together to identify obstacles, develop coping skills, and strategize solutions.
Components of the program include direct individual instruction and tutoring, small group instruction, and on-line learning program, as well as life skills and vocational activities. Students participate in a combination of these learning experiences.
This 3 hour program has a morning and an afternoon session, allowing the students flexibility to work around family schedules, public school classes, and employment/volunteer opportunity schedules.
