Panic Disorder Study

Receive Treatment For Panic Disorder At No Cost

The Anxiety Disorders Center at the Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital is conducting a study for women ages 18-50 with panic disorder. The purpose of the study is to learn how estradiol, a sex hormone, may impact outcomes in exposure therapy. Participants will provide a saliva sample and then receive two exposure therapy sessions at no cost. Participants will be hooked up to non-invasive (outside the body) sensors that measure the body’s stress response. Study participation takes place over two days. Participants will receive up to $100 for their time.

To find out if the study is a good fit for you, please complete a brief and confidential survey.

If the study seems like a good match, we will contact you within 2 business days. Thank you for your interest!
