On Site: Veteran QPR Training (Question, Persuade, Refer)

These sessions are open to the community as well as HHC colleagues. QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer. This is a suicide prevention training for participants to recognize the warning signs of someone contemplating suicide and offers techniques on how to support the individual. There will be a veteran focus to each of these trainings as it is part of the Veteran Task Force initiative.

Be sure to register for your preferred date, time, and location that works best for you. Trainings are offered at Hartford Hospital on August 19 from 1-3:30pm, Charlotte Hungerford Hospital on September 6 from 10-11:30am, St. Vincent's Medical Center on September 9 from 1:30-3pm, and in Norwich on September 11 from 2-3:30pm. Each session is 90-minutes long.
