This three-day event will offer personal insights and experiences from distinguished professionals who will share their groundbreaking research, innovative engagement strategies, and empowering storytelling to promote community solidarity. Addressing the themes of “Science, Substance, Solidarity, and Sustainability”, our national conference is a unique opportunity to connect with mental health professionals, community members, and researchers currently practicing and conducting research related to racial trauma and community healing.
ABOUT THE CENTER
The Center for Research on Racial Trauma and Community Healing is a one-of-a-kind research center established in 2024. Our aim is to gain a deeper understanding of the psychological and behavioral consequences of discrimination and trauma so we can advance equity and healing through the power of community.
CALL FOR PROPOSALS
The Center is seeking presentation proposals to share and highlight the exemplary work of today’s mental health professionals and experts on the topic of racial trauma. The proposals should facilitate the exchange of informed ideas and highlight ways to advance community-wide outreach and healing. If you have a best practice, stories of successful collaborations, lessons learned, or solutions that have worked for you we invite you to submit a proposal by November 30th, 2024.
